Second Chance, The Chances Trilogy Book One

Lindsay Foster has convinced herself that marrying Paul Webster is the right thing to do. But now that Brian Rembrandt is standing in front of her again, undressing her with his eyes, she finds herself torn between the life she's always wanted and the man she'll always love.

But this love triangle has an extra side.

The chain of events set in motion on the tranquil shores of Lake Tahoe come to a head on a foggy San Francisco night. And change the course of four lives forever.

                                                          Synopsis

Beset by fears of being alone, Lindsay Foster accepts Paul Webster’s heartfelt marriage proposal. But that was before her inadvertent reunion with commitment-resistant attorney Brian Rembrandt in Lake Tahoe. A lot has happened in the year since they split, including the death of Lindsay's only family and her resolution to start a new life.

     Far away from San Francisco.

But it’s more complicated than that. Lifelong best friend Moira Brody has a heart-wrenching secret.

And Brian is used to getting what he wants. And he still wants Lindsay.

So when she won’t come to him, he goes to her.

Despite the passion-filled night they share, Lindsay convinces herself that marrying Paul is still the right thing to do. She sends Brian away and continues going through the motions with Paul. Until she makes a stunning discovery that leaves her no choice but to follow her heart.

     But it’s too late.

     Or so she thinks...

Because unbeknownst to her, Brian has come to the same conclusion. He is willing to abandon the life he thought he wanted to build one with her.

But a tragic thirty-car accident on the Bay Bridge puts all of that in jeopardy. And reveals a truth no one could have expected.

Chance Encounter, The Chances Trilogy Book Two

In Second Chance, star-crossed lovers Lindsay Foster and Brian Rembrandt get a second chance at love amid the brilliant blue waters of Lake Tahoe. And their wedding beneath the twinkling stars of the Sierra Nevadas serves as the perfect backdrop for another match made in heaven.

But it's more complicated than that...

Marketing Executive Delaney Richards has sworn off men after being left at the altar. But the handsome pilot with the captivating eyes and sure smile could change all of that.

     If she lets him.

And Delaney finds herself wanting to let him.

From the beginning Delaney's effortless beauty is not lost on Captain Mike Savoy. But her eyes hold deep-seated heartache. And he very much wants to do something about that. Because much to his chagrin he's fallen in love with her. And he is determined to convince her that the feeling is mutual. But first he has to gain her trust.

That's a tall order because every other man in Delaney's life has abandoned her, from her father to her fiancé; she can't risk going through that pain again. Still, she can't ignore the profound way Mike looks at her, the instantly familiar way he holds her, the peacefulness she feels inside when they're together. So she finally trusts her heart and lets herself fall.

But a clandestine past Delaney didn't know she had is catching up with her, threatening the heartfelt plans she and Mike have laid. And Mike turns out to be just like the others and changes his mind.

     Or so she thinks...

In truth, Mike loves her more than she knows, is sending her away to protect her and ensure a lifetime together. But when his plan backfires and blackmail turns to ransom, Mike is the only one who can save her.

If only he can get there in time, he can explain and prove his love to her once and for all.

Last Chance, The Chances Trilogy Book Three

In Second Chance, star-crossed lovers Lindsay Foster and Brian Rembrandt get a second chance at love amid the brilliant blue waters of Lake Tahoe. In Chance Encounter, Delaney Richards and Mike Savoy’s quest for love takes them from Tahoe’s fawn-colored shores to the sinuous streets of San Francisco. And in Last Chance the heat doesn't come from the blazing summer sun and white-hot sand, but from the insatiable desire between Moira Brody and Paul Webster.  And even the single-digit temperatures of the snow-capped Sierra Nevadas are no match for their long-bridled passion.

Moira Brody knows Paul Webster better than he knows himself. But neither one of them know that he is as desperately in love with her as she is with him. Still, she isn't going to wait around forever.

Especially on Valentine's Day.

When Paul finally gets out of his own way, he finds that out the hard way. And has no choice but to take matters, and Moira, into his own hands. But first Paul and Moira have to do something they’ve never done before--go on a date. A first date that turns into a passion-filled night together, something for which Moira has waited a long time. She has a lot of time to make up for. And Paul is more than happy to oblige her.

As the veil between love and friendship grows increasingly thin between them, Paul lets his guarded heart fall in love with Moira.

But it's more complicated than that...

These lifelong friends will have to look at each other with fresh eyes and brave hearts. And not everybody is on their side.

Beneath the blinding blue sky and snow-capped peaks of the Sierras hearts will be broken, secrets revealed, sabotage attempted.

Moira will have to take an epic leap of faith and Paul will have to take the ultimate risk--again. All to see if their Last Chance at love was really their first.
